With the school season fast approaching – you’ll want to find your forever home in a great school district! Or maybe you have an “empty nest” and are ready to sell. But… which school districts rank the highest?
How is the best district determined? Niche.com states that the “Best School Districts ranking is based on rigorous analysis of key statistics and millions of reviews from students and parents using data from the U.S. Department of Education. Ranking factors include state test scores, college readiness, graduation rates, SAT/ACT scores, teacher quality, public school district ratings, and more.” Throughout the entire 379 listed schools in Wisconsin, The Kimberly School District boasts #11 for Best Academia. Neenah Joint School District ranks at #47, and the Appleton Area School District at #65.
But maybe you’re more interested in safety for your child? Niche.com says their safety “Ranking [is] based on student and parent ratings of health and safety, area crime rates, and rates for expulsion, suspension, and school-related arrests.” The Kimberly Area School District ranks #10. Brillion School District ranks at #29, with The Little Chute School District coming in at #38.
If your sports-loving child needs a dedicated sports team, you’ll want to check out Kimberly School District, who ranks #1 in this category! Or, Kaukauna Area School District coming in next at #22! The Freedom Area School comes in a close 3rd place with a ranking of #29. Wondering why your school isn’t listed? Niche.com says this “Ranking [is] based on student and parent reviews of athletics, student participation in athletics, and the number of sports offered at the school.”
